About the Presenters:

Debbie Powell
Training and Development Manager
The Queen’s Health Systems
Debbie began her journey into the organizational development field nearly 20 years ago. “My passion is leadership development and my industry expertise is in health care.” She is a Training Manager at The Queen's Health Systems responsible for supporting the learning and development needs for a team of 5,000. I have a special interest in Equine Guided Education, using horses in leadership and team development work.

Nelwyn Yee
Owner
Learning and Performance Improvement Solutions
Nelwyn Yee is the owner of Learning and Performance Improvement Solutions. She has created online and instructor led courses for companies in Hawaii and California -- for example, Kaiser Permanente, Roche, the University of Hawaii, Queens Medical Center, Hawaiian Electric Company. Nelwyn also has extensive experience conducting needs assessments, creating learning strategies and evaluating training effectiveness.
Before starting her company, Nelwyn served as a Training Manager for the Ilikai, a Senior Learning Consultant for Kaiser Permanente, and a Senior Instructional Designer at Genentech.
Nelwyn served on the ASTD Hawaii board for six years including serving as the Chapter President and Chapter Board Advisor. She is grateful for the professional development that ASTD has provided.

Dina Tsuda
Training Manager
Title Guaranty of Hawaii
Dina Tsuda is the Training Manager of Title Guaranty of Hawaii, a locally owned and family runned escrow and title company. She is responsible for the overall company learning strategy and specializes in instructional design, eLearning and LMS administration. Prior to her current role at Title Guaranty, Dina worked as a Learning and Development Consultant for Business Solution Technologies (BST), a Regional LMS Administrator for Kaiser Permanente and as a HR Supervisor at Title Guaranty of Hawaii. Dina has been serving the ASTD community as a board member since 2006, ranging from the VP of Records to the Past President role. She believes ASTD Hawaii has helped to shape her career and build life-long relationships with other learning and development professionals.
