If you have a need to stay on the cutting edge with the latest knowledge and skills in adult learning, facilitation, needs assessment, measuring the impact of learning programs and much more; the ATD Master Trainer Certificate Course may be just what you need. 

Brian Espenshade, an ATD-Hawaii Chapter Member recently completed the ATD Master Trainer Certificate Course.  He will provide an overview that will answer these questions:
  • How the ATD Master Trainer Program can add value to your organization?
  • What are the benefits of successfully completing the ATD Master Trainer Program?
  • How the ATD Master Trainer Program ensures learning transfer.
  • What are the differences between the ATD Master Trainer Program and the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)?

About the Presenter:

Brian served over 22 years in the military and is a certified instructor for the United States (U.S.) Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force. Since his retirement in 2005, he has developed and provided instructional design for the U.S. Department of Defense, Afghanistan Ministry of Defense, and several Partner Nations in the Pacific Rim. Recently he completed the Association for Talent Development Master Trainer Certification Course. He is employed by Booz Allen Hamilton and currently is tasked as the Chief of Training for the U.S. Army at Asia Pacific Counter-Improved Explosive Device Center at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Brian is very interested in the entire process of delivering training, including assessment, preparation, creating a positive learning environment, facilitating learning, and evaluating learning.


AOE (Area of Expertise):

The AOE for this Event is “Instructional Design,” one of 10 ATD competencies.  Attend Events in each of the 10 Competencies and receive an ATD Hawaii - Area of Expertise Certificate for 2015 and a stamp for this event in your Area of Expertise tracking card.  (Tracking cards are available at the event.)

Everyone who obtains stamps in all 10 Areas of Expertise in 2015, will be entered into a drawing at the end of the year to win an All Access Pass to attend all events in 2016 for FREE! (You must be an ATD Member to be eligible.)
