About this Event

New Year with a New You!

As a leader, the most important resource that you have under your control for leading and thriving in a complex world is your mindset – the collection of largely unconscious beliefs, values, assumptions and experiences that shape your world view, reactions and behavior. Did you know that over 90% of our behavior is non-conscious or hidden below the waterline of our awareness?

Non-conscious behavior translates into a multitude of obstacles in organizations.  It threatens engagement, focus, creativity, resilience, agility, change - just about anything that takes us out of our comfort zone.

Leaders can lower the waterline on non-conscious behavior through an integration of vertical development (growing mindsets), and neuroleadership (using mind-brain science) to optimize thinking, performing, and relating.

Join us in this cutting edge program where you will grow your mindset with The SyncUp4 Model and curriculum, informed by evidence based - research conducted in partnership with the Graziadio Center for Applied Research at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Business and Management.

At the end of this workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the role that leader mindsets play in increasing individual, group and organizational effectiveness
  • Connect the power of focused attention to performance and relationships
  • Understand a whole person leader model (SPINE) that supports resilience, emotional maturity and response flexibility
  • Understand the sources and power of non-conscious dynamics that can derail your best self
  • Define a set of practices to grow your wise person – the executive director function
  • Understand the brain as a social organ that seeks collaboration built on authenticity, accountability and compassion
  • Apply insights to the strategic challenges you face as a practitioner
