About this Event:
In this workshop you will get hands-on experience putting together a micro eLearning course, learning and practicing the skills needed to develop your own eLearning modules. The workshop is highly interactive, giving you a glimpse of how powerful Articulate Storyline can be. A list of the topics to be covered is found below. Participants will receive job aids, course assets, and a new network of budding eLearning designers!
Exercise files will be emailed to you for download a few days prior to the event. You will need to download Articulate Storyline 3 from their website. The trial version lasts for 30 days and you will have access to all program functions. If you already downloaded the free trial once, you may need to use another email/laptop to do so again.
Workshop Needs:
- You must have a PC laptop. Articulate Storyline is not compatible with Apple products.
- Mouse - it's recommended you use a mouse rather than a track pad, as you will be able to move faster using a mouse
Who should attend?
Beginner/intermediate eLearning designers – The course will cover much of the basics, with an emphasis on variables. It is recommended that learners have basic knowledge of PPT and/or Articulate Storyline.

About the Presenter:

Jerome Bautista

Jerome serves as the Senior Talent Development Specialist for HawaiiUSA FCU specializing in instructional design, eLearning, and facilitation of instructor led training. Prior to joining HawaiiUSA, Jerome worked for HouseMart ACE Hardware/Ben Franklin Crafts as the Human Resources/Training and Development Coordinator. Jerome is a designated SHRM-CP (SHRM-Certified Professional), has an MA in Organizational Development and Change, is the President-Elect of ATD Hawaii, Immediate Past President for the Walkie Talkies Toastmasters, and is also on the Board for the Financial Education Alliance of Hawaii. Jerome is an active volunteer, helping Hawaii’s community through charity work with the Waikiki Neighborhood Board, Waikiki Aquarium, and HIHO Hawaii.

Meeting people from different fields and learning new things is the most satisfying part of what Annie does…and also building a website here and there. She also has a passion for learning new things, especially new computer programs, and process improvement. Prior to working at LPI Solutions, Annie worked at The Queen’s Medical Center, TEG, and Kaiser Permanente. She is originally from New York where the inspiration of the hustle and bustle of the city has given her a creative-side such as attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (a part-time Jewelry maker) and where she also worked in Marketing at L’Oreal.

Enter on Sheridan Street and PARK ONLY on 2nd or 3rd floors in a marked Visitor stall. Take the public elevator down to the first floor. Koa is the first conference room on the left side of the hallway. Get your parking validated at the security desk just outside the Koa room.
