Session Description:
Communication is easy when both parties are composed and rational. But what happens when a customer, colleague, family member, or neighbor has “lost it” and things are escalating rapidly. How can we best deescalate the conflict, navigate the tension, and find common ground? How can we turn a potentially destructive exchange into one that actually makes the relationship stronger and more resilient? In this interactive ATD session we will explore these questions and share tools to increase our effectiveness in these situations. Come prepared to learn and practice!
