Trust & Leadership

With Jamie Harris

Jamie will present the results of an ongoing four year study of trust in business organizations conducted by Interaction Associates and what this research shows about the impact of trust and engagement on company performance.  Companies with high levels of trust and engagement outperform companies with low trust and engagement by a high margin.  He will also discuss some specific leadership practices and skills that can improve trust and engagement among employees, thereby enhancing prospects for superior company performance.

AOE: The “Area of Expertise” for this Event is “Managing Learning Programs”, one of 10 ASTD competencies.  Attend Events in each of the 10 Competencies and receive an ASTD Hawaii - Area of Expertise Certificate for 2014.

The ASTD’s competency model provides a basis for the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) certification program.  Learn more about CPLP at www.astd.org/cplp.
