September OD SIG: Start with Why

Introducing ATD Hawai'i brand new Special Interest Group (SIG) - Organization Development SIG! All ATD Hawai'i members are invited as well as all community members who are interested in Organization Development, working in the field, or businesses making use of OD practitioners. During the first meeting we want to discuss the purpose of the group in order to meet the needs of our community.

The topic:

“Start With Why” by Simon Sinek, a speaker on all things leadership, says "before we can think about anything we need to understand why we do things". So, we will talk about why Dr. Ken Rossi chose to lead the OD SIG and what you will get our of it. Once we have an idea of why, then we can begin to lay out "the what" and "how" of the SIG. We will model the core OD process for working on these questions while gaining an understanding of how we assess and teach group dynamics (a core principle of OD).
